|Fr. Mike Schmitz was our guest on the April 2020 Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance monthly call. Fr. is a priest in the diocese of Duluth Minnesota Father is the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth as well as the chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Fr. Schmitz gave us inspiration and some tangible tools and tactics to deal with the current challenges and struggles of the day. He acknowledged the fact that there are a variety of situations that men find themselves in today from unemployment to new strange schedules. The one thing that is universal is that the normal routine has been altered. Prayer is key, and ensuring we are taking care of ourselves is critical if we are going to mentor or minister to others. He also gave us some insight into what priests are dealing with during this pandemic. He challenged us all to not be the same person at the end of this crisis from where we were when it started. What is God calling us to? Follow Fr. Mike on his weekly podcast on https://bulldogcatholic.org/
