Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance Summit 2020 – Online
June 27 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pmFree
Important announcement about the 2020 Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance Summit
After much prayer and discussion we decided to move the 2020 CMLA summit to a virtual event on Saturday, June 27th, 2020. We will turn this challenge of social distancing into an opportunity. With the assistance of technology, we will host a “Virtual Summit” and reach hundreds, if not thousands, of men who are leaders of ministry to men programs in diocese across the country, and literally around the globe. We are committed to still delivering a powerful summit to spiritually feed all of us, discuss best practices, as well as bring us all closer in fraternity. Even though we will all miss the personal fellowship of being together, it is important that we carry on with this important mission.
Speakers for the Virtual Summit include:
Father Larry Richards: Being the Church of the Future Today!
Matthew Kelly: The Stakes are Higher, Opportunities Greater!
Dr. Tim Gray: Building and Nurturing the New Catholic Family
Father Rick Heilman: Together in the Battle – Spiritual Battle Workshop
Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers: Call to Action
Mission: To equip Catholic clergy and lay leaders to better evangelize, instruct and disciple Catholic men to a deeper relationship with Christ.
Over the next few weeks specific details will coming out to you. In the mean time there are a few things for you to do in preparation:
- Make sure you get this message out to all your men.
- Give some thought to where men may be able to gather together and share the summit event in your area.
This is a major opportunity for all of our Catholic men in North America. We are also planning the 2021 Summit to be held in Columbus, Ohio. Mark your calendar for Friday the 25th thru Sunday the 27th of June 2021. The Columbus Ohio men have done a lot of work to host this Summit. It will be an even bigger, better event in 2021.
Remember men, this is a time to be courageous and not fearful. What we are doing at Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance and as Catholic brothers is more important now than ever. God Bless each of you.
